CAPPA India was launched in October 2009 and we are affiliated with CAPPA International (www.cappa.net) which is based in the United States and is globally recognized. CAPPA is the World's Largest Birth Professionals training organization. CAPPA India offers all training programs in India with local mentors and workshops with certification from CAPPA International.

CAPPA's mission has been to offer comprehensive, evidence-based education, training, certification, and professional membership to Childbirth Educators, Lactation Educators, Pregnancy Fitness Educators and Labor Doulas.

CAPPA -India is headed by Sonali Shivlani who holds certification as a Child Birth Educator, Lactation Educator and a Labor doula. She is the Director of the Pregnancy Fitness Educator Program - CAPPA International. Sonali Shivlani has been running India's leading pregnancy classes and post natal programs in Mumbai since 2004. She has worked with more than 20000 couples through her programs and workshops.
